Price for the 2 Day trip (1 night) around Kalaw: 1 Person = 40US$ per day / 2-4 People = 28 US$ per day / 5-10 People = 25 US$ per day including guide fees, accommodation and food. Excluding: beverages and personal expenses.

Day 1:

6 hours walking time! We start from Kalaw around 8:30 AM across plantations and enjoy beautiful landscapes.Then we walk through Ywar Thit and Tar Yaw villages and visit their villages, their tribes and their nature! After visiting there, walk up along the range of the mountain to get to the viewpoint. We have lunch at the view point. After lunch, Continue to another village called Hin kha Kone. Your guide will explain you how to make green tea leaves there and about their lives. And we will stop at Kanbani village for our overnight in a family home.

Day 2:

Six and half hours walking time. In the morning, we will walk along the Railroad and cross through some villages to athe train station and cross Ywa Pu, Lu Pyin village and have lunch at Myin Ma Hti village. After lunch we could visit Myin Ma Hti cave which is with full of Buddha images. After lunch we will go back to to Kalaw cross through some plantations.

Please understand that the landscape and scenery between Kalaw and Inle lake area is very diverse and can change dramatically between seasons. (From June to November) The landscape is lush, wet and green. However, during the hot, dry and cool season, landscape is more dry and brown.

3 Days To Inle Lake (2 nights)

Price for the 3 Days trip to Inle Lake (depends on the group size): 1 Person = 40US$ per day / 2-4 People = 28 US$ per day/ 5-10 People = 25 US$ per day including guide fees, accommodation and food. Excluding: boat, luggage transfer, 15 US$ entrance fees for Inle Lake Reserve, beverages and personal expenses.

2 options are possible:

Option #1:

Day 1: 6 hours walking time. We start from Kalaw at 8:30 AM to a view point on the top of the mountain, you will enjoy very beautiful scenery around Yay Aye reservoir, which was built by The British in the ever green forest and experience local life in Hin Kha Kone village (Palaung tribe). We continue to my family home in the village of Kanbani, where a traditional Burmese lunch is served around 12:30. In the afternoon, we will walk along the rail road until Myin Deik train station and continue to the Ywa Pu village where we stop overnight. We will stay in a family home. A traditional dinner will be served around 7 pm.

Day 2: 7 hours walking time. After having traditional breakfast around 7:AM, we will walk through four different villages populated by different tribes and have lunch in the forth village, called Kone Hla (Dane tribe). After lunch, we will walk along the range of mountain enjoying the view to the village where we stop for our second overnight stay.

Day 3: 4 hours walking time. After breakfast, we will walk through Kyauk Su and Nann Yote villages and walk along the range of the mountain to Tone Le village to stop for lunch before taking the boat across Inle lake to Nyaung Shwe. You will see some floating gardens, floating villages and some fishermen on the lake.

Option #2:

Day 1: 6 and half hours walking time. From the starting point to the train station is the same as option #1 with additional visit to Sat Kyar Kone or Taung La village (Danu tribe).

Day 2: 7 hours walking time. We will walk up to the top of the mountain and enjoy the view from the top and walk to Lin Pan, Kyauk Su villages and have lunch in Nann Dein village. After lunch we walk to Partu village for overnight homestay after crossing the river, it may be possible to swin there depending on the season.

Day 3: is the same as option #1.

Price for the 2 Days trip to Inle Lake (depends on the group size):  1 Person = 40US$ per day / 2-4 People = 28 US$ per day / 5-10 People = 25 US$ per day including guide fees, accommodation and food. Excluding: boat, luggage transfer, 15 US$ entrance fees for Inle Lake Reserve, beverages and personal expenses.

We will take the car from Kalaw around 8:30 AM to Lamine village where we start trekking. It will take 45 minutes on the car. We will walk through Lamine, Pin Nwe, and Paw Ke villages and we will have lunch at Kone La village in a local family home. After lunch we will walk along the range of the mountain across the river, it may be possible to swim there depending on the season. After that, we will walk up and down to the village where we will stop overnight. We will have dinner around 7 pm. The next day we walk through Kyauk Su and Nann Yote villages and down to Tone Le village to have lunch. After lunch take the boat through floating gardens, floating villages and fishermen to Naung Shwe town. It takes about one hour on the boat.

1 Day Around Kalaw

1 Day Around Kalaw

Price for the 1 Day trip around Kalaw is 15 US $ per person – including lunch – excluding beverages and personal expenses.

You can choose among several options:

  • Option #1: Kalaw – View point – Kalaw: 6 hours walking time. Start around 8:30 am. We will walk through two villages on the mountain across tea plantations. Trekking is up and down We will have lunch at a view point, Nepali restaurant around 12 or 1 pm. After lunch we will walk for 2 and half hours to Kalaw (OR) walk through the ever green forest for three hours.
  • Option #2: Kalaw – Myin Ka- Pein Ne Pinn – Kalaw: 7 hours walking time. We start form Kalaw around 8:00am. We will walk along in the valley and up to the top of the mountain to enjoy beautiful landscapes and down to Min ka ( Danu tribe) village. After visiting local life, we continue to Pein Ne Pinn village(Palaung tribe) and have lunch in one of the family houses. After lunch, we will walk back to Kalaw through tea plantations, oranges plantations and pine forest.
  • Option #3: Kalaw – Lupyin – Taunggyi Chay – Myin Ma Hti – Mine Lone Taung:  We sart from Kalaw around 8:30am. We walk along the range of the mountains through pine forest and plantations to lupyin village. After visiting Lupyin village we walk to Myin Ma Hti village through Taunggyi Chay village and have lunch at Myin Ma Hti village. After lunch we go into the cave and visit. After visiting the cave, we walk back to Kalaw through so many beautiful plantations and Main Lone Tuang.
